Use Do Not Disturb mode when you need to focus. This will silence all notifications, except for calls from your favorites list.
Set specific times of day when you check your notifications. For example, you might check your notifications at the beginning and end of each day, or during your lunch break.
Delete notifications as soon as you're finished with them. This will help to keep your notification list clean and manageable.
